Late October Update

Posted by in Blog on Oct 29, 2012

Well, we’ve been a little inconsistent with our posting lately, but we’ve had lots going on.  Here are the quick hits:

  • Lots of wind lately.  Too much, in fact.  We’ve been off the water for a few days thanks to all of Sandy’s contributions to our forecast.  We’ll be back at it again tomorrow, though.
  • And it’s officially fall in Florida.  It’s just about bordering on winter with this crazy weather.  Thinking that the big trout will heat up as the temps continue to fall.
  • The wind and cold happened at a good time for me, personally, as I needed the time off to tend to our 10 year old puppy; he did a belly flop off the back of the couch and has been moving a little slow, but he’s almost back to his normal crazy self.  Thanks to all the well-wishes you guys shared on Twitter and FB.
  • Still openings available for winter time snook fishing . . . Many people don’t know how good the snook fishing can be in December and January.  Make sure to book your trip today!

That’s it for now.  Our next giveaway is coming soon – in fact, it’s gonna be a doozy, and it’ll run on Friday, November 9th, so circle you calendar.
