Please excuse our dust – we’re rebuilding the Gasparilla Charters site!
Tracing his Florida roots to the 1870’s, Travis is as much a part of the Sunshine State as the Everglades or Kissimmee River.
The only guide in Florida who operates full-time for waterfowl in season, Travis is equally adept in the marshes and bottoms in the middle of our state as he is on the bow of his flats skiff patrolling for tarpon. Whether you want a personal best snook, one leg of your turkey grand slam, or the best duck shooting on the peninsula, Travis is ready to help plan your next adventure.
Passionate about conservation, Travis has worked with, is a member of, or has donated to Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, Ducks Unlimited, Captains for Clean Water, Vanishing Paradise, The National Wildlife Federation, Delta Waterfowl, Coastal Conservation Association, and more.
His ramblings have been published in Pointing Dog Journal, Sporting Classics, HuntFowl.com, Outdoors360, Gunn & Hook Journal, and others, as well as a recurring column on Cast and Blast Florida’s website.
Travis created the Cast and Blast Florida podcast in 2017 with his wife, Emily, and close friend, Nathan Henderson. Together they have grown the show to cover the entire country in listeners, and at last count had loyal fans in 26 countries. The show is available on all podcast platforms (iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, etc) and new episodes are released every Tuesday.
Travis is a resident of Winter Haven, Florida, where he and Emily reside with his son Will, daughter Olivia, and a bird dog named Finley.
